Austin Turner won star of the in his return to 100 Mile House on Jan. 15 when the Wranglers beat the Kamloops Storm in a match up between Doug Birks Division leaders.

Terrace forward Austin Turner won star of the game in his first game back as a 100 Mile House Wrangler, which thumped the Kamloops Storm 5-2 at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre with over 500 fans in attendance on Jan. 15.

The Storm and Wranglers each have 53 points at the top of the Doug Birks Division and share an identical record (24-11-1) after 40 games.

The Wranglers will look to beat the Heat in Chase tonight (Jan. 16). Chase is third in the Doug Birks Division.

Justin Bond, Tate Page, Turner, Cole Zimmerman and Brady Ward notched goals against Kamloops. Brett Harris (3), Tavis Roch and Stephen Egan tallied assists.

Zane Steeves was solid in net, turning away 22 shots.
