Equine Canada certified driving coach Elisa Marocchi of 100 Mile House taught a carriage driving clinic in Barriere on May 28-29. Richard and Susan Arthur of Elk River Canadians in Barriere hosted the two-day clinic, under the sponsorship of the Canadian Horse Heritage and Preservation Society (CHHAPS).

Craig Allison of Clinton picked up $374.40 for his second-place finish in steer wrestling with a time of 10.1 seconds.
In team roping, Ty Lytton of 108 Mile and his partner Josh Cahill of Clinton each took home $610.65 for their second-place time of 6.2 seconds.
