The 100 Mile House's Midget Rep team continues to play competitively in the Okanagan Mainline Amateur Hockey Association league (OMAHA), but they just can't quite capture the victory.

Battling Clearwater in two home games Dec. 3-4, the 100 Milers lost 9-5 and 6-3 respectively.

Judging by the scores alone, the results are deceptive. 100 Mile kept the pressure on Clearwater throughout both games.

They kept up in terms of skating and challenged the Yellowhead Highway team on the boards. Goaltending as been outstanding for the Milers, however.

In the first game, goalie Aidan Harding faced 40 shots, while in game, net-minder Kai Flett stopped an impressive 55 shots.

One cannot forget that Clearwater is also tied for first place in the 14-team competitive (OMAHA). They have chalked up only one loss while gaining 10 wins so far this season.

In light of such stats, the Milers, which is competing for the first time in the OMAHA league, are performing admirably.

After Saturday loss, they obviously regrouped to strategize for Sunday, where they kept the game within three goals, displaying even more of their ability.

In terms of offence, the Reps are being led by players like Tanner Hooper and Kurt Wandler.

In game 1, Hooper garnered two goals and an assist, while chalking up an assist in game 2.

Wandler managed one goal and two assists in the first game, and scored two of 100 Mile's three goals in game 2.
