The second and final Watch Lake/Green Lake Gymkhana of 2011 is slated for Aug. 13 at the gymkhana grounds on North Green Lake.
Events start at noon, with pole bending, key hole, stake race, barrels, ribbon race, boot race and musical tires. Entry fees are $2 per event for adults and $1 for peewees.
Topping off the day will be the announcement of the season’s aggregate winners and the awarding of prizes.
Along with an action-packed day of exciting horse-riding events, there will be a full concession with burgers and hotdogs, an ice cream stand, refreshment garden and a 50/50 draw.
Admission at the gate is $2 for adults and $1 for youths aged 16 and under.
