Mitchell Hooper and the rest of the 100 Mile 'N Hour U16 team took home gold as the Cariboo-North East team in softball at the 2016 BC Summer Games on July 23 in Abbotsford. This is another achievement to add to the teams long list of accolades for the season.

The Cariboo-North East softball team took home gold at the 2016 BC Summer Games in Abbotsford on July 24.

The team was on fire and never lost a game throughout the competition.

On the team’s road to victory, regional teams North West, Thompson-Okanagan, Fraser River and Vancouver-Coastal all fell before the might of the Cariboo.

Cariboo-North East defeated Fraser River in a flawless 7-0 victory.
