Wranglers back in first place

100 Mile win against Revelstoke, Chase shutout of Kamloops results in lead change

The 100 Mile House Wranglers rode into first place in the Kootenay International Junior B League's Doug Birch Division with a 5-2 victory over the Revelstoke Grizzlies in Revelstoke on Saturday (Feb. 12) night.

The Wranglers hold a one-point lead over the Kamloops Storm after the Chase Heat shellacked them 5-0 the same evening.

It appears the battle for the division title is going to go down to the wire.

The Storm and the Wranglers each have two games left, and one of them will be a head-to-head tilt on Feb. 19 in Kamloops in the second to last game of the regular season for both teams.

The winner of this contest will likely take the title.
