It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of William Reymer.
Bill was born in Holland and emigrated to Canada with his bride Tina in 1955 to Lone Butte. They bought the family home closer to 100 Mile in 1963 and raised their young family there.
Bill was predeceased by his first wife Tina, his second wife Maxine, his son Tony and stepdaughter Sandra.
He worked in the Weldwood Plywood Plant until his early retirement after marrying Maxine in 1987. In retirement, Bill enjoyed travelling and also spent many happy hours fishing and camping in the Cariboo. He was also an active member of Creekside Seniors Center and thoroughly enjoyed participating in many of the activities offered there.
He was a great family man and loving father and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his daughters; Mary Thibeault, her husband Don and Elsie McDonald, her husband Jack, his daughter-in-law Deb Reymer, his brother Joe Reymer, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Also remembered by his step-children Grant Corriveau, Carolyn Corriveau and Shelley Corriveau.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 1 pm at the Creekside Seniors Center in 100 Mile House.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
