December 29, 1952 - February 12, 2022
Terry 'Chico' Robinson, 69 years of 100 Mile B.C., passed away tragically February 12, 2022.
Terry was born on December 29, 1952 in Hamilton, Ontario before settling in British Columbia. Survived by his wife Leslie, and children; Christy (Chris), Terry Jr. (Lisa), Justin (Dee), Lonny (Vanessa) and Oren with grandchildren Jessica, James, Hana, Gaige, Berlyn, Alex and Hailey.
Terry was a great husband, father, grandfather, coach, neighbor and friend. He was the man that everyone turned to for guidance and would help you with anything and always came with a lesson.
"Mountain Man" as lovingly referred to by his granddaughter Jessica, Terry had a great passion for the outdoors including hunting, fishing and teaching his children and grandchildren the importance of safety and conservation.
Anyone who knew Terry back in his younger years would probably say that he was "hard as nails" and that would hold true to this day however with his wife Leslie's influence, he grew to have a softer side which he would never admit but showed in the love he had for all his children and grandchildren.
Terry loved passing on the knowledge of his skills to his children and friends which included carpentry, plumbing, electrical and pretty much every other skill related to home building and repair. Terry forever shaped so many people with his straight-forward and honest approach. You would never have to wonder what Terry thought because he would tell you exactly how he felt, a quality that can be rare at times but is so valuable to many. Terry had a work ethic that was present in everything he did, he passed this onto all his children and grandchildren and is one of those qualities that some can only dream of.
Terry also loved music whether he was listening to his favourite tunes in his shop with the volume cranked as he worked ("Some songs you just gotta listen to loud!") or just sitting quietly while listening to one of his sons play piano or guitar, he was always into it.
As Terry used to say, "Do it right the first time, or don't do it at all". He did it right all the time. We love you and will miss you.
