July 19, 1979 - August 15, 2021
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, father, uncle, godfather, and "Bro".
Steven was well loved by all who knew him, he always had a helping hand to lend and smile to go with it. He protected the women in his life, and stood up and spoke up for them. He would put his friends, family and community before himself. He missed out on special occasions because of his service to others.
He was a passionate hockey player and coach, playing all across western Canada. He played for many Junior and Senior hockey teams and made many friends and adopted family from this pastime. He also played ball for many teams and went to the Canadian National Fastball Championships.
He served as a councillor for his community and of his many jobs - his last was his favourite, being allowed to serve his community as water tech and to provide for the community in that way.
He loved his children, godchildren, nieces and nephews - he loved providing for them by taking them to tournaments or on weekend trips or sharing his love of the land by taking them fishing and hunting.
Steven is survived by his children Jayleen Michell and Blake Daniels; his fiancée Crystal Amut; his mother Lorraine Denise Archie (Roy Christopher); Kye7e/Mom Antoinette Archie, Kye7e Elsie Archie; siblings Shawn Archie (Jamie), Brandon Frank, Amanda Frank and Frances Sellars, step-siblings Morgan Christopher (Anna) and Deanna Christopher (Jesse); step-father Terry Frank (Fiona) and his precious fur babies Chongo and Trix. His special nieces, nephews, godchildren, godparents, Aunties, Uncles, cousins & bros are too many to list here but he loved them all.
He was predeceased by his father Stephen Emile Daniels and step-brother Duane Christopher.
Services were held in Canim Lake on Saturday August 21, 2021. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Canim Lake Band Children's Christmas Fund or to the Canim Lake Band Children's Recreation Fund.
