March 11, 1962 - January 29, 2019
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends and family, after a long and courageous battle with diabetic and heart disease complications on January 29/19 at Vancouver General Hospital. Will be dearly missed by his partner Terry, best friend Ryan, and friends from 100 Mile House, Vancouver and Ontario.
Scott was most upset when he realized he was not going to make it back to 100 Mile House and be with his cats Max, Smokie and Minnie. Family is grateful for, and Scott was most appreciative for the recent legalization of MAID, the Medical Assistance in Dying program.
Predeceased by his mother Shirley, survived by his father Sandy and sister Cindee and family.
Scott was an avid fisherman and hunter whose love for the outdoors, animals and the many activities they offered ran deep. He was most at peace behind the wheel of his jeep with mud beneath his tires.
Scott wished no service, celebration of Life will be June 8th at 12:30 pm at Scotts home at 6197 Finn rd, 100 Mile House. Scott loved the outdoors, Driving in his jeep, hunting and fishing. Please join us and share your Scott stories.
If desired, the family would ask for support to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
