Roger passed away at the age of 96 at the 100 Mile House Hospital.
Roger was born in Vanderhoof, BC to Fredrik and Roxie Borhaven on March 10, 1925 then moved to Vancouver and Aldergrove.
Roger had a full life filled with family and different occupations that took him to several different places such as Port Moody, Haney, 100 Mile House, Enderby and Armstrong. He also enjoyed many hobbies, one that stands out is his love for horses and chariot racing. Roger raised and raced horses as well.
Survived by one sister Helen Trudeau, one brother Richard (Norrie) Borhaven and five children, Lynne (Randy), Arne (Lynne), Sherle (Jim), Heather (Bruce), Eric (Leola) and multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by 3 children Fredrik Borhaven, Andrea Borhaven and Roger Borhaven and and 3 grandchildren Catherine Redekopp, James Pollock and Bradlea Borhaven as well as 5 brothers and sisters.
Interment at Lac La Hache Cemetery at a later date.
