Robert James "Bob" Smith
February 12, 1931- October 19, 2017
It is with a sense of great loss that we announce Bob's passing.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years Barbara, his son Glenn, daughter Kathy (Jamie), grandsons; Antonio and Lucas, his sister Jessie as well as many nieces and nephews. Bob was always busy helping all of his friends fix things.
His hobbies were hunting, fishing, woodworking and camping with family. He worked hard all of his life driving heavy equipment and trucks.
The last 30 years before retiring he drove truck for Pacific Brewery Distillery in Victoria, BC. Once Bob retired he and Barbara moved to the Cariboo, where he loved the life and everyone loved him.
Our family would like to thank all the staff at Fischer Place, each of you are wonderful! We also extend our thanks to Dr. Geerts for your care.
There will be no service as Bob wished. Donations may be sent to Fischer Place, Bag 399 100 Mile House, BC, V0K 2E0.
