July 21, 1942 - July 23, 2018
Raymond Martin Flewwelling, of Lac La Hache, B.C., passed away on July 23, 2018 at the age of 76 from congestive heart failure at the 100 Mile House Hospital.

Ray was born on July 21, 1942 in Vancouver, B.C. where he grew up. He bought his first home at the age of 23. He and his wife Faye had 3 children; Debbie, Lorraine & Richard.

Ray was mechanically inclined and a very hard working man. He drove transport truck during most of his career. For nearly 50 years Ray lived in the Lower Mainland, but at age 50, Ray had enough of the "concrete jungle" and moved to his property that he loved on Greeny Lake in the Cariboo. Ray spent his days at Greeny caring for his cherished pets and enjoying the freedom of living in a remote location surrounded by nature.

Ray is loved and will be missed by his son Richard (Lauri); his daughters Debbie and Lorraine (Tom); his brother Norman (Ivy); his sister Sharon, and his dear friends; Marie and Julie; his former wife Faye, his grandchildren; Taylor, Emma, Joey and Lukas, as well as his extended family and friends from near and far.

Ray is predeceased by his father Harold & his mother Annie.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Marie for being at his side when he passed, and to Julie for always being there for him.

At Ray's request, there will be no services held. Donations can be made to the 100 Mile House SPCA.

Cariboo Chilcotin Funeral Service Ltd. entrusted with the arrangements.
