In loving memory ~
Sadly, we announce the passing of Pat Ross after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Pat passed peacefully at home in 100 Mile House with family.
Pat is survived by his long-time partner Marilyn Vinson, two daughters Lorna Ross, Lynda Ross, stepdaughter Kristin Wallick (Shaun) and stepson Lee Haggard. Pat adored his grandchildren Alex (Maggie) Ross, Easton Haggard and Ainsley Oxtoby and they adored him. He also leaves behind sisters, brother-in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as many friends.
Pat kept a good attitude and his sense of humor throughout his illness.
Pat was born in Vancouver and raised in the Hatzic Prairie, Aldergrove and Mission areas. His family moved to 100 Mile in 1973. Pat worked at many different vocations in his lifetime, they included trapping, logging, trucking, steel yards in Vancouver & Prince George and of course the hardware store. He loved working at Century Hardware where he worked off and on for over four decades. It is there where he met a lot of his friends.
Pat enjoyed the outdoors. He hunted, fished, and went camping with family and friends. He also enjoyed weightlifting. Pat couldn't say enough good things about the care he received at the 100 Mile Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Adrienne Montgomery, nurses Jillian Thompson and Jamie Piner and Chelsea Herperger. And thank you to Madelyn Gunn at 100 Mile Funeral Services.
At Pat's request there will be no service, but the family may have a gathering at a later date.
