After a long, happy life, Lisa Oetheimer, a long time resident of Lac la Hache, passed away in Williams Lake, B.C. Lisa immigrated to Canada with her husband Hermann in 1955, and settled in Lac la Hache in 1958.
She was trained as a seamstress in Germany and had a variety of jobs in Canada. Lisa felt a sense of accomplishment in going back to school later in life and securing a position as Bookkeeper for the Gang Ranch. She was an avid reader and loved gathering with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her easy going nature and sense of humour.
Lisa is survived by her 4 children and spouses, Mike (Shirley), Peter (Karen), Susan (Larry) and Sandy (Dale). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, their spouses and 4 great-grandchildren. There will be a family gathering at a later date to celebrate Lisa's life.
