In Loving Memory ~

It is with overwhelming sadness the family announces the passing of Julie Hadden, on November 15, 2023, in Houston, B.C., where she recently resided.

Julie was born on June 25, 1991, in 100 Mile House, B.C. The third daughter of William and Maureen Hadden. Little sister to Sonja and Kelsey.

Julie packed a lot of living into her short 32 years. She could generally be found working on her latest DIY projects, be it woodworking, furniture refinishing, painting or creating her little bistro set decorated with pennies collected from family and friends.

Many will remember her incredibly quick wit, followed by her infectious laughter and expressive eyebrows. She always believed in and found the good in everyone. She loved nature, enjoyed setting up trail cams, and spent hours investigating animal dens or searching the beach for the perfect stones to paint.

She loved summer best, suntanning, fake nails and funky hair colors. She always enjoyed a good steak or roast beef dinner complete with "Yorkies" and gravy.

Many a game of CRIB was played and she tried hard to be a gracious winner. She had a weakness for flowers and gardening. Cosmos and sunflowers top the list.

Jules spent time mentoring young girls at Big Sisters Canada and volunteered at the SPCA. Animals were her passion and she wanted to adopt them all.

Over the years Jules had many jobs, always searching for those that held her interest....counting salmon for the government in Fort Babine, bundling tree saplings in Prince George and Telkwa and also a management position at a Tim Hortons.

Julie leaves behind her loyal dog Alice and special cat Peetu. Her parents Bill and Maureen Hadden, sisters Sonja (Cary) Cunningham and Kelsey (Caleb) Lister. Four much loved nieces Avery, Zoey, Aspen and Ada.

Also, her Grandpa Riester and many many aunties, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Julie loved her family deeply and she was loved by each and will be forever missed by all.

A private family gathering will take place in the spring. No formal service will be held.
