1924-2009
John passed away peacefully at 100 Mile House, BC on March 27, 2009 after a short battle with lung cancer. Betty (his wife) and John moved to 108 Mile Ranch in 1984 from the Lower Mainland. He spent his retirement years enjoying the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and camping. He is survived by his loving wife Betty, brother Glen (Doreen); three children: Dale (Linda), Vicki and Wayne (Pat); three stepchildren: Wendy, Brenda (Wayne) and Wesley (Therese); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. No service as per John's wishes. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at 100 Mile House and Kelowna General Hospitals. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
