July 20, 1919 - Sept. 12, 2011

John Sulatyski passed away peacefully at the age of 92 at Fischer Place, 100 Mile House hospital.

He was one of eleven children born on a farm near Dauphin, Manitoba. He was in the Canadian Army and served on Kiska Island with the Rocky Mountain Rangers.

John’s ‘life and love’ was the great outdoors, hunting, horseback riding, hiking and fishing. He loved his remote homestead home on Deception Creek. He loved listening to and making music and one of his dreams was to travel to Nashville, which he did on the Greyhound bus. He even had some of his own songs recorded.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fischer Place and also Grace Steitzer Family Care Home in 108 Mile House for their loving care they provided to him. Also, we would like to thank the many friends he had while living in the 100 Mile House area.
