Jeanette (Nield) Atkinson passed peacefully on Oct. 26, 2016, after a courageously fought battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her daughter Tracy Litawa, and sister Rosemary Godwin. Jeanette will be sadly missed by her loving Husband Ted Atkinson, son Darryl (Donna) Nield, brother Ben Gwilliam, brother-in-law Keith Godwin, son-in-law Mike Litawa, grandchildren Trevor, Jessica, Lucy, Kane and Jacob, many extended relatives, and her beloved dog Logan.
Jeanette (Nettie) emigrated from New Zealand in 1981, first settling on the west coast, and later retiring to 100 Mile House, BC. Her feisty nature and outgoing spirit endeared her to those whose lives she touched.
There will be a celebration of her life in the
Lone Butte Community Hall from 11am to 2pm on Dec. 9, 2016.
