James Joseph Giroux passed away Februar y10, 2018 at Millsite Lodge with his loving wife by his side after a long battle with PLS.
Jim and Gloria moved to 100 Mile House from Brampton Ontario in the Spring of 2003.
Jim is survived by his wife Gloria of 51 years, a sister June Turcote of Ontario. Four children James(Kelly) Stacey (Maurice) Jarrett (Kate) Stephanie (Andrew) and four Grandchildren; Conner, Devin, Jordyn and Kenadie who called him Papa.
He will be remembered fondly as the friendly dispatch voice of 100 Mile Transit.
The family warmly invites any who knew him to a Memorial Service on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 5503 Park Drive, 103 Mile House BC @ 2:00 pm. (Tea to Follow).
A very special word of gratitude to the Home Support Girls and Nurses who helped us while Jimmy was at home; and the Nursing Staff, Care AIds and Doctors of Millsite Lodge whom he loved so much and who made him smile as they so diligently looked after his every need.
