In Loving Memory ~

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James Fredrick Williams at the age of 66 on October 1, 2023.

James was a beloved son, brother, dad, grandfather, and friend. He was predeceased by his father Bud and is survived by his mother Shirley, brother Buddy (Sandi), sister Cheryl (Craig), daughter Natalie (Jim), son Tyler, and grandchildren Joey and Chase, as well as niece, nephews, and stepsons.

James was born in Vancouver, B.C. and moved to Lac La Hache with his family when he was 16. He embraced his new town and enjoyed waterskiing on the lake and riding a mini motorbike down the main street during the summer. In the winter, he loved snowmobiling all over town.

James had a great sense of humour and loved to have fun. He was a hard worker, especially when it came to motors, and alongside his dad and son, they made the Williams Snowmobile Recycling shop a local legacy.

James will always be remembered for his love of snowmobiling, racing stock cars, playing ball, making potato guns, and riding his Harley's. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and was a wonderful friend to many.

A Celebration of Life for James will be held at the Lac La Hache Community Hall on November 12, 2023, at 1 p.m.
