It is with great sadness that the family of Hazel Larson announces her passing on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at the age of 91 years.

Hazel will be fondly remembered by her children: Larry, Terry, Owen Larson and Sharon Ouellette and their families; her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Also mourning her death are her two brothers: Gerald and Gordon; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends: Carol Gudmundson and Francis Reid.

Hazel was born and raised in Manitoba, married Karel Larson and lived in the Roe Lake area in Cariboo, BC. Here they raised their family of three boys and two girls, while owning and operating a sawmill, then a cattle ranch. After the passing of her husband, Hazel has resided in St. Albert, AB for the past 40 years. She was employed at Alberta Liquor Control Board until she retired.

Hazel is predeceased by her husband, Karel and lovely daughter, Karen; her mother and father; and seven brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Life and burial will be held between 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Roe Lake Hall in Roe Lake, BC.

Those who so desire may make donations in memory of Hazel to the associations of Parkinson Alberta, 102, 5636 Burbank Crescent SE, Calgary, Alberta T2H 1Z6.
