George passed away peacefully at the 100 Mile Hospital.
He lived his early years in Saskatchewan and moved to the Fraser Valley in his teens. In 1953 he moved to Pemberton with his wife Frieda and young family. Following the death of his wife he moved to 100 Mile House where he spent 10 happy years working in the shop.
He is survived by his four children: Marg, Glenda, Bob and Doug; three grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held in Pemberton at a later date.
