On October 26, Mr. Francisco da Silva Pacheco of Oliver passed away peacefully at McKinney Place Extended Care at the age of 94 years.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Fernanda; brother, Jaime and sister-in-law Evangelina.
Francisco will be fondly remembered by his children, Maria, Jaime (Eniel) and George (Kelly); grandchildren, Jennifer, Shawn, Megan, Kyle, Jeremy and Dustin; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Francisco (Frank) was born in Portugal. He was the 4th of 5 children born to Isabel Eugenio and Ivo Pacheco. In 1952, he married his sweetheart Fernanda Dias, and they were together until her passing in 2020. In 1957, he left Portugal and moved to 100 Mile House where it was 30 below for the first month in this new country. He was joined by his wife and children at the end of 1958. In 2018 Frank and Fernanda moved to Osoyoos where they remained until their passings.
