It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eunice Marie Casey. Eunice passed away peacefully in her home on March 26, 2015.
She was born on May 29, 1925 in Delisle, Saskatchewan and moved to the Cariboo in 1956 with her husband Wayne. She worked hard throughout her whole life as a wife and mother; she also nurtured many long lasting friendships.
Eunice was the mother of three sons and was lovingly referred to as “The Boss”. She enjoyed any time she spent with her grand children and great grand children. They never failed to put a big smile on her face.
In her spare time Eunice enjoyed many different arts and crafts, she happily shared her many creations with those around her. She laughed easily and truly enjoyed joking around. Her sense of humor was appreciated by many, along with her compassion and genuine concern for others.
Eunice will be forever missed by her family and relatives as well as the many lucky ones whom she considered friends.
Eunice is survived by her sons; Murray Casey Sr., Evan Casey and Keith (Wendy) Casey, grandchildren Murray Casey Jr. & Floyd Casey, her great grandchildren; Danika, Adriana, Aidan and Kaidria, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Memory of Eunice Casey to the BC Children’s Hospital
A celebration of Eunice’s Life will be held at a later date.
