Eric Paddison

June 14, 1943 - October 11, 2023

In Loving Memory ~

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Eric at home, with his loving partner Lou by his side. Eric fought with courage a battle against cancer and a debilitating disease, PSP, but it was the one battle he couldn't win.

He leaves to mourn Lou, his partner of 44 years, Russ (Karen), Brad, Mark + Stacey (Kirby), 9 grandchildren, 7 nieces, and 7 nephews.

Eric is predeceased by his dad Eric, mother Sophia, sister Gail, brother-in-law Dave, and nephew Shayne.

Eric was born in North Vancouver and spent his young life there. He and his family moved to Cariboo in 1971. He began working as a logging-loader operator for many years, then loaded gravel trucks and had his hand in the log home building.

Eric loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and trapping. He also loved painting-oils mainly, but also some watercolours.

Eric was a friend to many people and was very well-liked.

A celebration of life will take place at Roe Lake Hall on November 5th from 1-4.
