It is with great sadness that the family of Elsa Anna Zeller announce her passing. Elsa lost her battle with Alzheimers Disease on Feb. 15, 2015.

She had been a resident at the German Canadian Care Home in Vancouver since the end of 2009 and had embarked on her 93rd year last Christmas.

Elsa and her husband Philipp, with their two sons, moved from Germany to Bridge Lake in 1958. They joined Philipp’s half brother Mike Graf and his wife Paula at the Graf’s guest ranch in Bridge Lake. Eventually the Zellers moved into 100 Mile House where Philipp and Elsa both worked at “The Mill” where Philipp was shop foreman for many years. They were well known in the bingo circles of the Cariboo - Philipp played a major role in the raising of funds to build the new Community Hall in 100 Mile House. Elsa was known for her yahtzee, crochet and baking skills.

Elsa is survived by her two sons: Edward who lives in Maple Ridge and Gary (Jeannette) who lives in Toowooomba, Australia, plus several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She will be interred alongside her husband Philipp in the 100 Mile House cemetery.
