Dori passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, February 26, 2024.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Gary, and her beloved cat Luigi, her nieces and nephews,
Gail (Dave), Michele (Chad), Carolyn (Cory), Daryl (Mai Ling), Brian (Joanne), Mark & Wendy.
Cousins Mike & Karen, and her sister-in-law Marge, plus a bushel of great nieces and nephews, as well as many family & friends.
Dori was born in New Westminster, BC and at a young age moved to the family dairy farm in Aldergrove, BC. There she spent endless hours working on the farm with her family.
Dori's career was in healthcare for over 30 years, she worked in the Lower-mainland and in 100 Mile long-term care facility. Where she was devoted and touched the lives of others.
After retirement on Horse Lake in the 100 Mile area, Dori gave so much love and many hours in her garden, fishing, hosting family and friends and sharing the rewards of her amazing garden with others.
Dori, filled the colder months of the year quilting, sewing and donating her creative treasurers to loved ones.
We will miss you as your love and strength will be forever in our hearts.
There will be no service by request in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the 100 Mile Hospital Foundation in the South Cariboo region of BC.
