Dave passed peacefully in 100 Mile House after a long courageous battle with many health issues. He was born in Shoreham-By-The-Sea in Sussex, England and came to Canada at two years of age.

He is survived by his wife Julie, of 47 years, his son Shawn (Sarah) of Cloverdale, his daughter Tanya (Nelson) of Burlington, Ontario and his son Paul (Rebecca) of 100 Mile House, as well as his 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson Eli. He lived in West Vancouver and then Surrey before moving to Forest Grove in 1991.

He was an active member of the Forest Grove Volunteer Fire Department for several years. During his more than 40 years as a highly respected and a well known owner/operator of a tow-truck throughout BC andWashingtonstate, Dave trained countless drivers in his profession working closely with all branches of emergency service providers. He was always willing and tried his best to help everyone he could, and his tenet was to "pay it forward".

He loved fishing and all forms of car racing (volunteering for decades at the Westood Mountain High Track in Coquitlam with the Sports Car Club of BC as well as at Kent Raceway in Washington).

Most of all, Dave was a truly loving and kind husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who always put his family first. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him, and never forgotten.

Our heartfelt thanks to all who assisted and enabled him to be with those he held most dearly at his time of passing.

No service by request but instead a celebration of his life will be held for him this summer at our home.
