September 14, 1948 - March 21, 2020
Born September 14, 1948 in Mission. Son of May and Bob Rooks of Maple Ridge. Taken from us unexpectedly on March 21, 2020 at 72 years of age.
Cliff is survived by his 2 sons; Glen and Kory Rooks and wife Bonnie; his 2 grandchildren Cody and Keith that he loved dearly; and a special spot in his heart for April and Angelina.
Born in Mission, BC, he grew up in the Fraser Valley. He enjoyed truck driving and made that his career. He hauled logs at Knights Inlet and from there settled to 100 Mile House where he continued trucking.
Cliff loved 100 Mile House, God's Country, and where he called home. Cliff, also known by some as 'Mugsy', loved to stay socially connected, calling his friends regularly. He loved his trucks, snowmobiling and ATVing with family and friends.
His infectious laugh made him an unforgettable presence where ever he was. Cliff will be missed by family and friends everywhere.
A Celebration of Life will be held in 100 Mile House with a date to be determined.
