The family of (Charles) Blaine Seterengen are saddened to announce his passing on March 22, 2021. Blaine is survived by his son Yurri, daughter Sherri and ex-wife Bonnie.
He is also survived by his six siblings, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends throughout BC, Yukon, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Blaine was predeceased by his parents, two brothers a sister and several close relatives.
Throughout his life, Blaine frequently and quietly helped strangers and friends who needed a helping hand. He also had a soft spot for animals, and would go out of his way to help any animal in distress.
Blaine always enjoyed the family and friend gatherings around the old fire pit, where the guitars and singing would last late into the night. Blaine had a tendency to be a spontaneous traveller and was fond of taking road trips to visit family and friends.
After moving from Saskatchewan at a young age, Blaine lived and worked all over BC before settling in Quesnel. This past year Blaine lived at Fischer Place in 100 Mile House.
He will be missed by many and his family knows the spirit of a young, healthy, happy Blaine has risen heavenward.
A private graveside service for family and friends will be held at 100 Mile House Cemetery on Saturday April 03 at 2 pm. Service arrangements are provided by 100 Mile Funeral Service. Covid protocol will be in place.
