Anthony Joseph VAN OSCH

Born in Rosmalen, Netherlands in 1936, Tony passed away at Fischer Place, 100 Mile House on January 1, 2007. He was predeceased by his brothers Rene and Bill. He is survived by his sons Tony and Pete, his daughter in law Heather, grandchildren Amanda, Michael and Renee, brothers: Gerry (Gloria), Ed, Ray (Judi), sisters: Kathy (Ken), Liz, Thea (Gord): in-laws Larry (Aileen), Neil (Barb), Peter (Pat ), Deborah, Denise (Peter), Melanie and forty-four nieces and nephews. The Van Osch family emigrated to Canada in 1953. Tony was a well-known custom home builder and a cabinetmaker. A lasting memorial to him is the beautiful interior walls and pulpit he handcrafted from hardwoods for St. George’s church in Crystal Beach, Ontario where he was a choir member for many years. In recent years Tony enjoyed playing cribbage at the Forest Grove Legion. A gathering of family and friends was held at the Forest Grove Legion on January 5. Tony’s ashes will be interred at a later date.
