Anne Sabo (nee Reimer) of 100 Mile House, BC moved into eternity on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the age of 75 after her battle with cancer.
Anne is survived by her husband, Tom Sabo; her children, Steve Sonoff, Michael Sonoff, Wendy Bashor (Pete), and Susanne Taylor (Kevin); as well as her step-children Ron Sabo (Yvette) and Cheryl Graham (Dennis); and predeceased by step-son Dave Sabo.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Amy Sonoff, Hayden Gunn, Miranda Kurpe (Coleman), Harley Bashor, Dakota Taylor-Kilback, Jax Taylor, Tali Taylor, Shawn Sabo, Candace Derksen (Daryl), Olivia Sabo, and Jackson Sabo, Amanda Graham, and great-granddaughter, Elvira Kurpe.
Born in Sardis, BC, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Tina Reimer, predeceased by her brother Dave Reimer, and survived by her sisters Mary Steegstra, Marge Hunt (Gordon), Melita Reimer, Leona Cook, Judy Polson (Rufus) and Juanita Reimer.
Anne was a beautiful, kind, and caring soul-an angel in the shape of a wife, mama, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She was not a complainer and was always there with a smile and warm heart. She seemed to know exactly what a person needed and loved unconditionally. Through all of her pain in her last year, months, days, and hours she didn't feel sorry for herself. Instead, she lived out her desire to show the glory of God as she still tried to take care of everyone around her.
The family would like to thank Dr. Geerts and Dr. Van De Vosse, the RN's, LPN's, care aids, and staff at 100 Mile Hospital for being so kind and caring during Anne's last days on earth.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Hillside Community Church in 100 Mile House, BC with Rev. Joe Martinsen officiating.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the B.C. Children's Hospital in Anne's name.
