Quietly at home, during the evening of February 13, predeceased by his parents Warren and Gesina Kirkland, Bud passed.
Left to mourn is his immediate Kirkland family: brothers Bill (Margaret) and Richard (Brian); nephew Bill (Debbie) and great niece Amy Kirkland.
Over several decades in the Cariboo, Bud served with the B.C. Department of Highways before retiring to Campbell River.
His large extended family, friends and colleagues will be gathering this summer on July 6 in the 108 to share memories of Bud.
