Adam George Hyra
April 10, 1947 - September 26, 2017
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Adam George Hyra on September 26, 2017, at the age of 70.
He has gone home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Adam was born in Russell, Manitoba on April 10, 1947. He lived in Grandview, Manitoba until the age of 10.
In 1957, he moved to 100 Mile House, which was his place of residence for the rest of his life.
Adam was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Margaret (Maggie) Hyra; brothers, Ed and John Hyra; his nephews, Andy Hyra, Nicholas and Monty Sluchinski; and his niece, Rosalee Child.
He is survived by his brothers, Peter Hyra and Melton (Marlene) Hyra; his sisters, Anne (Dale) Tegdue, Marie (Len) Neufeld; and several nieces and nephews.
Adam was a very giving person. He liked gardening and the outdoors. His passion was shopping for bargains - especially case-lot sales.
A big thank you to Adam's doctor, Michael Mthandazo, and all his nurses for their excellent care.
A private service was held Oct. 2, 2017.
