100 Mile House RCMP arrested a 23-year-old female driver who sped away from a police officer, who notice the driver's licence plate showed her insurance had expired, at the 7-Eleven in 100 Mile House on March 21.
After executing a grid search pattern over the area, police located the suspect vehicle and an officer in an unmarked RCMP vehicle followed it at a distance.
The arrest was made when the suspect driver stopped at the community mail boxes on the 93 Mile Loop Road.
