Crime Stopper tip of the week

Gravel pit vandalism

On July 11, 100 Mile House RCMP members were called to a gravel pit off Exeter Station Road for the complaint of break-and-enter and mischief to a construction vehicle.

A front-end loader was driven erratically throughout the pit and it caused significant damage by tipping over a conveyor belt. The loader came to rest over the edge of an embankment. Approximately $20,000 in damage was sustained to the conveyor belt and the loader. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the 100 Mile House RCMP detachment at 250-395-2456 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS if they wish to remain anonymous.
