Cold weather delays cross-country ski race start one hour

Due to cold weather, organizers have decided to delay the start of the Cariboo Marathon by one hour.

The cross-country ski race is set to start at 10 a.m. at the 99 Mile Hill Ski Trails on Feb. 8.

The races, which last year saw 150 entrants, attract a variety of categories for ages and distances – full marathon (50 kilometres) mini marathon (30 km), juniors (20 km), recreational (20 km and 10 km) and rabbits (10 km and 5 km).
