People who are 50 years-plus are invited to come out to join the fun at the Creekside Seniors Activity Centre at 501 Cedar Ave. in 100 Mile House.

Renata Cargnelutti says there are a lot of activities for seniors to enjoy, including pool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m.

There is carpet bowling on Monday and Wednesday, starting at 12:45 p.m. There are crib games on Tuesday at 12:45 p.m., as well as bridge on Friday, starting at 12:45 p.m. Tai Chi is held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 9 a.m.

There is an annual membership fee of $15 and a drop-in fee of $2 per session. Folks who are not members but would like to attend, pay a $3 drop-in fee.

Cargnelutti notes the centre puts on three potluck dinner events a year that are open to everyone – around St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas and Halloween.

To get more information about the centre and become a member, or rent the hall for an event, call Cargnelutti at 250-395-4430 or 250-395-3919.
