Painted by Dwayne Davis, the Eliza Archie mural was funded by the 100 Mile House Mural Society.
Archie was a leader and respected elder of the Canim Lake community, as she devoted her time and energy towards the advancement of her people and community.
Her deeply rooted identity, epitomizes Secwepemc culture, traditions, and beliefs that, to this day, survives to confront, challenge and prevail over obstacles to a better future for the Secwepemc people of the Canim Lake community.
Her community honoured her through the establishment of the Eliza Archie Memorial School in 1986.
