Addison England loves to play at the water park in Williams Lake, but the long drive from 100 Mile House makes her wish children here had a water park of their own.
Addison turned six on July 13 and instead of bringing presents, she asked friends and family to bring cash that could be donated to the 100 Mile House Waterpark Society. She even had a water park birthday cake made by local baker Heather Jensen who donated the amount after expenses to the society.
The total amount collected and donated by Addison came to $191.75.
