Local post offices are welcoming letters to Santa and officials say the jolly old elf will answer the letters as soon as he gets them.
100 Mile House Canada Post employee Jan Pittet says it's important for children to have the proper return address on the letter, so Santa can make sure it gets to the right child.
"We have received some letters already and I know Santa would really like more, but it would really help him if the letters had return addresses."
She explains that even though Santa knows where all the children live, he travels by sleigh and lands on roofs, so he doesn't know the street addresses.
