Cariboo Regional District Area L Director Bruce Rattray recently presented Community Policing Consultative Committee (CPCC) chair Tony Eades with a $1,000 cheque.
Others on hand for the presentation were Deka Lake Citizens on Patrol captain Ardise Newcome and CPCC treasurer Ruth Marx.
Eades, who is the South Cariboo Citizens on Patrol (SCCOP) co-ordinator, says SCCOP needs some more patrol volunteers for Canim Lake, 100 Mile House and Deka Lake.
