The 2012 school year came to a close for the Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School students with their awards presentation June 26.
Students, family and friends packed the gym to congratulate the students for working diligently in their studies.
The afternoon's ceremony began with the singing of O Canada performed by Donna Forward-Houriet and accompanied by Karl Beitlberger. It was followed by a First Nations welcome by Elsie Archie.
The audience was treated to a couple musical interludes, including Hallelujah performed by Grade 12 student Niki Watson backed up on guitar by Steven Scott. Janson Ruscheinsky played his guitar and sang We're Here for a Good Time.
Once all the awards were given out, the audience viewed the year-end video.
