Deka Lake & District Ratepayers’ Associaton (DLDRA) brand new website address is: www.dekalake-district.ca, and they are particularly grateful to Mario Huebel for designing it and to Interlakes Market for sponsoring it.

Check out the businesses, the partners, the pictures and more! If you have a picture or story to share, please-mail it to the above address.

DLDRA will continue to update the calendar of events, download more pictures and add more information, so keep logging in.

New library

The Cariboo Regional District’s (CRD) new library, next door to the real estate office at Interlakes Corner, opened March 7, with the same hours as before: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 2 to 6 p.m.

CRD Area L Director Brian Coakley noted, “We did have some delays with the project that were beyond our control, so I’d like to thank the community for their patience. Once they see the new library, I hope they’ll agree it was worth the wait.”

The Grand Opening is 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 24, and all community members are invited to come see “this beautiful new space.”

Congratulations

Birthday bubbly goes to Audrey Smith and Danny Jenewein. Congratulations to Karen and Bruce Simundson on their 40th wedding anniversary, March 18.
