Mega Show promises interesting displays

Organizers have been working hard for the upcoming Fourth Annual South Cariboo Mega Show at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre (SCRC) on April 29, 30 and May 1.

"Everything is falling into place. We still have a couple of booths left if someone wants to book them," says one of the organizers Bev Lund.

"We have quite a few of our same vendors with a good mixture of new ones, and a good variety of businesses."

She adds the show is a wonderful place to expose products and services, ranging from home renovations and furnishings, yard, garden, recreation and outdoor living to health and wellness and more.

Larry Rode of THE WOLF radio station and his crew will be on location on Saturday (April 30), says Lund.

Show times are from 5 to 9 p.m. on April 29; from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 30; and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 1.

Admission is by donation to KidSport, an organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to youths aged 18 years and under.

Half the parking lot will be full of recreation vehicles of different sorts, as well as outdoor sports equipment, says Lund, adding there will be something for everyone.

"We are looking forward to seeing everyone. There will be some terrific draws for people to enter throughout the weekend. Come on out and enjoy yourselves."
