Lone Butte 4-H's spaghetti dinner was a night to remember. The community of 100 Mile came together to support our club. Congratulations to our two lucky pig raffle winners, Deanna Brennan and Charity Musgrave! A special thank-you to our MLA Donna Barrnett for auctioning off the items. The fundraiser dinner and auction was a huge success, the club raised over $4,000. The money will be used for cattle and sheep equipment. Thank you all for coming and supporting our club.

On Feb. 26 our beef members went to beef weigh-in in Williams Lake. Karli-Rae Ross' beef was 780 pounds and Yellowbird Boyce's beef was 804 pounds.

On March 4, the horse projects got together at the 105 Mile indoor arena. The horse and riders were successfully placed in their units and are looking forward to this year's shows and activities.

The club speeches are on April 2. The topic the members are required to talk about is safety. The club is reaching out to the community and asking for two judges to judge the speeches. Please contact Heidi Meier at 250-706-1476, if you are able to volunteer your time.
