Lake Of The Trees hosts free Camp Day

General public urged to get a taste of lakeside Bible Camp

Families and youth have a golden opportunity to check out the Lake Of The Trees (LOTT) Bible Camp at its free Camp Day on June 25, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Camp director Tom Macintosh welcomes everyone who would like to check out all that the lakeside Bible camp has to offer to join in the fun.

"It's just wonderful to see when people actually come out here and they cannot believe the beautiful spot and the facilities that have been built up and cared for through the years by volunteers."

A free barbecue will further enhance the Camp Day event, along with swimming and other fun lake and beach activities.

Whether it's trying out the water slide, "blobbing" on the aquatic trampoline, canoeing, tackling the climbing wall or meeting the volunteers and staff, Camp Day offers families a taste of what's in store at LOTT summer Bible camps.

A variety of different camps geared for ages two to teenagers, and ranging from two- to nine-night stays, run through July and August. Even whole families can attend a mid-summer long weekend camp. (Note registrations for all camps typically fill up quickly.)

LOTT is just a 35-minute drive from 100 Mile House, off Dempsey Lake Road near Forest Grove (watch for signs).
