Lac la Hache activities picking up again

News and events in and around the community of Lac la Hache

Well, things are beginning to pick up around town since the hustle and bustle of Christmas is behind us for another year.

With the recent melting of snow, we were wondering if our winter was winding down, but in true Cariboo spirit, Mother Nature decided to bless us with a fresh dump of the white stuff, and the turning up of the thermostat once again ensures us that winter is continuing for a while longer.

We see there are the die-hard ice fishers braving the weather to garner a catch of kokanee and lake trout in the usual locations around the lake.
