The Highland 4-H Club has been busy this past few months with fundraisers, as well as getting ready for Achievement Day and Show and Sale.

Our club received a generous donation from The Great Cariboo ride, for which we thank them very much. The Petting Zoo we helped at, on June 7, was a great success and the children loved it.

Congratulations to the members who placed in the May Judging Rally on May 1.

Juniors

Ashley Cant placed second in foods, and Avery Rutledge was third in photography.

Seniors

Zaria Hayes was third in horse and first in rabbit.

Aidan Fentiman took second in poultry, while Hayley Fentiman was third in both poultry and dog.

Colton Monical took third in bike, and Maddy Rutledge was second in swine.

Our Achievement Day will be held at Roe Lake Rodeo Grounds, starting at 10 a.m. on Aug. 7.

Achievement Day is where the members show off their projects and receive their ribbons. There is a lunch with many foods, and guests are welcome to attend.
